This collection is a mixed-media exploration of the world around us and a reminder that ordinary objects can hold layers of significance. Each work contains actual pressed petals and leaves that I carefully gathered, catalogued, and dried. In the studio, the dried flowers are placed on gessoed wood panels, preserved in layers of resin epoxy, and embellished with acrylic paint that speaks to the original vibrant hue of the bloom.
