This collection is a celebration of spring. As I experience this season’s landscape, I’m drawn to the dark, rich green of old growth highlighting the new life on the trees and shrubs. I took my cue from nature and chose a deep green background for this collection to compliment the array of greens and pops of color found in the botanicals. The white of the daisies and yellow of the daffodils serve as a reminder of the bright, hot days of summer just around the corner. The spring season is oh so fleeting and I hope this collection inspires you to soak up what's left of these perfect spring days.
Each piece in this collection measures 16x20 inches with a 1.5" depth. The work is three dimensional dictated by the thickness of the botanicals' leaves, stems, and petals.
